Dr. Suhel is a Consultant Endocrinologist with over 12 years of clinical experience in the field of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolic Medicine. He obtained his medical degree with distinctions from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India, and subsequently completed his junior doctor training in Edinburgh, UK. He pursued his specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at the North Eastern Deanery, UK, including training at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.
Dr. Suhel holds dual accreditation from the UK General Medical Council and received his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in both General Medicine and Endocrinology & Diabetes. He further pursued a Master’s degree in Diabetes and a PhD from Queen Margaret University in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, UK.
Dr. Suhel has contributed to numerous international peer-reviewed journals and has authored book chapters in the field of Endocrinology. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Newcastle University, UK, and serves as an examiner for the MRCP UK PACES examination, in addition to being a member of the MRCP UK question writing group. He has also completed an MBA in Leadership and Healthcare Management from Cumbria University, UK.
