Dr. Yasser Nakhlawi is an international expert and Consultant for the UNICEF in the area of Child abuse and Neglect Prevention and Child Rights and Advocacy.
Dr. Nakhlawi received his high school education in Leads Royal Academy (England) and his medical degree from Alexandria University (Egypt). He completed his medical training in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center – University of Pennsylvania (USA). He was awarded his Master’s Degree in Medical Management from Tulane University, New Orleans – Louisiana (USA). He was awarded the designation of Certified in Medical Quality when he passed the Board of Medical Quality offered for the first time by the American College of Medical Quality in February 2007 in Miami Florida (USA). Also, Dr. Nakhlawi is American Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Nakhlawi has served as the Chairman of the Pediatric Institute at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Cleveland Clinic – Abu Dhabi (UAE), and worked as a senior consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology at the American Hospital Dubai (UAE). Also, he was the Chief Medical Officer at Pinecrest Developmental Center at Pineville, LA, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Adolescents Medicine at Tulane University, School of Medicine – New Orleans (USA). Recently he served as the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Clinical Affairs and the Chairman of Pediatrics and Neonatology and Child services at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai.
